The midi-octopus needs your help! I am keen to hear from anybody interested in the midi-octopus. Whether you have some words of encouragement, some parts to donate, some expertise to impart, or you would like to support the project through some much needed sponsorship, I want to hear from you. I am currently running a “Donate a Doorbell” scheme, in an attempt to gather some solenoids and motors (or “feet”) for my octopus.
This is what’s needed:
- encouragement – it’s always nice to know you are loved
- publicity – I’m happy to provide a press pack
- sponsorship – I would love to be able to buy new parts
- gigs & exhibitions – for when the midi-octopus is ready to rock
- fans – please consider signing up to my mailing list
- solenoids, motors, 12v buzzers, a car battery, 12v lights etc. – midi-octopus feet

My “Donate a Doorbell” scheme will be appearing next at the Maker Faire in Newcastle, in March. Please bring some donations along, or pop by to discuss the midi-octopus. I’ll be next to the “hardware hacking” space…
